Canada: Take a Biblical Stand for God & His Word!
STOP: Any amendments to our Canadian Marriage Act.
The Bible is very clear: "One man & one woman."
The Supreme Court may be able to decipher legalities of law but leaves off the Spirit of the Law.
That being the subject of "Morality";

Dear Reverend Axler:
Your correspondence regarding the issue of same-sex marriages has been forwarded to me by the former Minister of Consumer and Commercial Relations, the Honourable Robert W. Runciman. I appreciate having the opportunity to clarify the position of the Government of Canada on this important issue. I apologize for the delay in responding.
I would like to assure you that the Government of Canada remains committed to marriage as "the lawful union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others." This was reaffirmed by Parliament last year in An Act to modernize the Statutes of Canada ill relation to benefits and obligations. The Act received Royal Assent on June 29, 2000.
Many Canadians have expressed their concern following the recent media coverage of two ceremonies conducted by a church in Toronto that claimed these to be marriages between same - sex partners.
As you may know, in Canada, provincial governments are responsible for some aspects of marriage, such as the issuing of licences, registration, and ceremony procedures. However, the issue of who an individual can legally marry falls within the jurisdiction of the federal government.
Under Canadian law, two
persons must be of opposite sex in order to enter into a valid legal
marriage. This requirement has been in place since before Confederation.
Counsel from my department have successfully defended the opposite-sex
nature of marriage in court challenges. Please be assured that they will
continue this defense in the challenges currently before the courts.

What does the Bible have to say
about same Sex Marriages?
(June 28/03)
1) It violates the Will of God Whom by the way is the Ultimate Authority on this planet.
Isaiah 55:8,9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.:
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
Malachi 3:6 "For I am the LORD, 1 change not ; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."
2) It violates the Bible. (K J V 1611)
3) It violates the Canadian Federal Law.
The Government of Canada remains committed to marriage as "the lawful union of one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others." 4) It violates the Moral Ethics of our Society.
5) It violates the conscience of most Canadian citizens.
6) It violates our trust in our Federal and Provincial Legislature, as well as our Judicial System.
7) It brings shame and dishonour to our families, and Christian Heritage.
8) It makes a statement to the world that Canada is a Country which honours "HUMANISM" while dishonouring the majority of its residents foundational beliefs for the sake of the minority.
9) It makes a statement to our future generations of our Nations Grandchildren that the family initiates itself with (Legally Married Male & Female Parents) sanctioned by God Himself being unimportant.
10) It makes a statement that Canadian politicians are more interested in attempting to be politically correct in their statements as votes appear to be more important than truth, and righteousness.

Only
four years ago, the Parliament of Canada voted overwhelming in favour of a
motion that upheld the definition of marriage as being "between one man and one
woman to the exclusion of all others" and also committing Parliament to "take
all steps to preserve the definition of marriage". Of the 271 members in
Parliament on that day, 216 voted in favour of that motion.

Senate Passes Bill C-38, Obliterating Marriage as Core Social Male-Female Family Institution
The Senate of Canada yesterday in a moment of complete moral abdication and obfuscation passed Bill C-38, which was rammed through the House of Commons in manner more typical of the dictatorships and banana republics around the globe, than a free parliamentary democracy, as the Liberal Government forced members of Cabinet and Parliamentary Secretaries in violation of their consciences to vote in favour of this fiercely unpopular Bill.
47 Senators voted to change the constitutional and natural definition of marriage, 3 abstained and 21 (mostly Conservative Senators) voted against. The Liberal dominated Senate of Canada is comprised of 105 members, and although there are no less than 10 vacant seats at this moment, which leaves an astounding 24 senators who were absent. This represents a full 25% of members of the Senate of Canada who could not be bothered to show up for a vote on the most crucial vote on the future of the most significant social institution in the world.
Any social event accessible to married couples only will from now on be comprised of male homosexual, lesbian, and heterosexual couples mixed together. In one stroke of the pen social acceptance of deviant sexual behaviours has been legitimized and mandated.
The implications for the social fabric of our nation and future generations will be radical and far reaching. Children will be forced educationally in public schools to assimilate the unnatural concept of a family with two mothers or two fathers as normal and equal to the natural biological male-female two parent family.
The offshoot from this will also be that homosexual pathological behaviour itself, which is fraught with disease and human suffering will be taught as normal and acceptable to children in public education systems.
Thus the Senate of Canada has set society on a collision course with history and nature itself, which has inexorably confirmed the destruction of societies that promote homosexuality. The national health effects of the public legitimization of homosexuality will be staggering if the course of public policy on this issue is not altered soon.
The next federal election in Canada will be about some very serious issues, and should not allow the governing party to escape accountability for its socially destructive policies.
People of good will must work to overturn this disastrous social experiment forced upon the nation of Canada by a handful of special interest power brokers.

homosexuality (sodomy) an abomination. Under the Old Testament Law extreme
measures were used to remove this "SIN" from society. Today the Lord desires
those practicing this life style to repent of it; confess it for what it is:
"SIN"; turn (cease) from
this activity, and asked the Lord to forgive you for your "SIN" in this area of
your life.
Ro. 1:21-32 " Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.
